WHY STUDY THE ALMOONAC EVERY DAY? There
is so much we can learn from the various time systems of the
many diverse world cultures. Mainly, we do this practice every
day to get our subconscious and our conscious mind linked together
beyond the suffocating "time is money" orientation.
Parallelling the arbitrary Gregorian world-business calendar
with the natural rhythm of this planet, we attune ourselves to
the succession of the moons, seasons, numbers, archetypes, and
waves of evolution and peace. Our minds are liberated to expand
to even the more subtle influences of each time story. Druids,
Mayans, Cherokee and numerous other highly sensitive and sophisticated
cultures have gone beyond the time system of this planet into
the galactic realm of time. The picture is pretty big... as you
can see!
So, the goal is for each of us to learn
at our own pace. So, wherever you enter this realm is perfect
for you. I know someone who held a treasure for two years before
opening it. The timing is not always up to us. Mostly, a discipline
like this about time (which we all have so little of anyway)
is not designed to frustrate or make anyone feel guilty - we
all are doing the best we can and if we could be doing better,
we should get to it! If you are a slow learner, I understand
you very well! There are many of us and there is lots to learn
on this soul journey.
Our time is so precious - how we engage
it, how we meet our obligations, where are we going, and what
difference we are making now. These are all considerations we
entertain periodically as we watch our days and hours shrink
to hardly more than a breath... and the children drive away with
their own car keys.... where did it go? Did I express my purpose?
By using the cycles and empowerment of
the Grandmother Moon energies one begins to recognize our place
in the system and how very creatiely powerful we are. We are
increasing our intuition and our telepathic ability and the synchronicities
that make our life such a magical unfoldment from day to day
surprises are around every turning. Everything and everyone is
seen as a part of the wholeness we are creating together. This
is important work we are doing!
Dancing with the moon, that white ribbon
weaving her way acrross our
lives, day and night, can open us to a new experience in personal
expression.
