WHAT'S IT ABOUT?
Creating the Global Peace Culture.
The bottom line is this: We are all here
to be peacemakers! This "planetary experiment" we are
all a part of provides the perfect mileau for our global life
culture to evoke balanced harmony with itself and the earthship
it travels. In so doing, together we are creating ourselves a
global peace culture. WE ARE! How we engage time is very important
incompleting this mission. The "Almoonac"
is just one tool or practice help in getting us there. TIME
- that spinning wheel of our lives, is a beautiful friend and
a gift of possibility. By weaving through the arbitrary Gregorian
"world of business" calendar with a new rippling venture
into the world of natural rhythm, diverse cultures and alternative
time systems, our own natures become transformed and together
we open to possibilities we hadn't considered before - perhaps
we didn't even know!
Jelauddin Balkhi "Rumi"
(Sept 30, 1207) spoke it so mystically:
"You are the divine calendar
where all destinies are written,
the ocean of mercy
where all faults are washed clean."
So, welcome to this Website. It's seed
is part of the International Peace Movement, planted here in
cyberspace waiting to be grown in every home on the planet. It
attests to a divine experiment being conducted on the Earth Plane
and calling all of us on this planet in this time to participate.
The challenge is for us to bring such harmony to the planet that
violence will cease and war will be no more! What a great vision!
What amazing motivation for us to be a part of something so transforming
and timely.
Here Almoonac is and here we are,
just where the evolution of the past two thousand years has delivered
us - born into the Aquarian paradigm, the path of nonviolence,
and the dawn of the 4th dimension of Mayan time. Pacal Votan
was right when he wrote in the Telektonon, amazing writings
I have only recently discovered, "O peolple of the dawn,
do not doubt. The appointed day is come" : kin Manik - blue
hand of healing. Translated into the body politic, it dwells
in PEACE, and in the personal - UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. This "campaign"
is to bring a change of mind to everyone who comes across its
pages... read on if you like the idea.
In the concepts and ideas of the beloved
community developed and
put forth by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., THIS IS CLEARLY OUR
TASK AT HAND:
Our Principles of Nonviolence:
- We honor the dignity of every human
being.
- We believe our lives are linked to
each other.
- We support the rights of justice and
equality for all.
- We choose to practice compassion courageously.
- We see love as the power of the human
spirit to triumph.
- We seek nonviolence and peace as a
way of life.
To these six, we add a seventh:
We know the Earth is our Mother and we must care for her. That
then pretty well brings it into the paradigm for which he was
a grand prophet.
If you have other ideas or thoughts to
share, do it! We are looking! Peace is only a collective idea.
It takes all of us! So you may like our idea of a "Peace
Accord" . Our organization is called usa:
united safeworld accord - for peace on earth. An accord
is an agreement between two parties, bound by their "word",
they become accountable for their actions. A simple statement
like "In all ways I shall be gentle" could be such
an accord. Your own peace accord would be such an agreement and
become your pledge to act in peace, without violence, in all
the expressions of your life. In Gandhi's India it is called
Satyagraha, the very foundation of his philosophy of peace.
This is not a new idea for any of us.
What makes it different as you read this is that we have now
reached a critical mass. According to socialogical studiesof
change in our culture, "peace actually is - now, an idea
whose time has come!" Any new paradigm or idea will
transform a culture when only 11% of that culture fully embraces
it. So, as we study and work and watch the crocus and tonight's
news, we are watching all the parts of the paradigm shifting
- everywhere! A culture of peace is taking shape in the collective
mind of our whole culture - just as it did with women's sufferage,
native American religious rites, freeing slaves, understanding
aids, alternative health care - so many other leaps we have made.
Yes, now PEACE is an idea whose time has come.
If it is true what was recently shared,
that every soul that has incarnated at this time has agreed with
the others that this is the millennium of Peace. Then we need
a place to connect. We hope you will choose to continue your
piece of the drams with the Almoonac in your early morning schedule.
Bottom line, That's what it's about. We are all in this together!
