The implementation of Sustainable Technology worldwide is a necessary development to creating an ecological & peaceful world for all of life. Sustainable Technology can also help overcome poverty & hunger. Earth Rhythm is committed to developing and supporting education programs on Sustainable Technology to educate the public. We would like to work with other groups in this endeavor. We would also like to help develop Eco-Villages with the Native American people on their land. The Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota is a Third World environment hidden from the international community in the heart of 'America'. It has an unemployment rate exceeding 90%. Over 30% of the people are homeless, and of those that have homes 60% are substandard; 20% are without indoor plumbing; 50% have no telecommunications; 16% have no electricity. We would like to work with the Eco-Village community in developing Sustainable Villages that will preserve & empower the Lakota-Sioux on the Pine Ridge Reservation.
