The Dine' Navajo are a matriarchal society of traditional Native Americans. They live on a reservation located in the NE corner of Arizona. Even though they are locked into a battle to keep their land and traditions, they still maintain a traditional lifestyle. They speak their native language, practice their sacred religion and live off the land. Their income is through their art. Their art is weavings, jewelry, baskets and pottery. Their weavings are very sacred, with the wool sheered from the churrio sheep, spun and then woven into the Navajo rugs. These rugs will be on this site for sale. The women who are the weavers are called the Master Weavers and they have been weavers all of their lives. From the young to the elders, the weavers are a gifted group of women who have been practicing their craft all of their lives. They depend on the sale of their crafts for their modest income.

Some weavings are for sale and some can be ordered. To learn details of the Dine' lives, please check out this website.
