Butterfly's ApolloTM reference design and chipset provides OEM manufacturers with an advanced starting point for developing Stand Alone multiple handset cordless phone solutions and wireless Key systems.

The reference design and chipset can support up to fifteen (15) handsets and eight (8) telephone lines allowing for a truly scalable architecture. The ApolloTM chipset is designed with state-of-the-art Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum radio techniques to provide a robust and high quality voice channel as a base platform for the OEM developer to build their system around.

ApolloTM supports all traditional Key system functionality, and some unique and state-of-the-art features may be added by the OEM developer depending upon the final system configuration:

  • Telemanagement Software (For PC Connectivity)
  • Voice Mail and Auto Attendant
  • Caller ID with programmable dispatch
  • Intelligent long distance call routing
  • Enhanced features through the use of Soft Menus

In addition, Butterfly can provide complete reference design guidelines, schematics, BOMs and engineering expertise to assist the OEM in executing their development plans. These Stand Alone designs are ideally suited to enable the manufacture of low cost multiple handset cordless and wireless Key telephony systems for use in small office and home office environments.
